Alber Frank's three shareholders, Phillip G. Alber, Jeffrey M. Frank and Omar J. Harb, have worked together for nearly a quarter-century at a series of different law firms. While the firm names have changed, one thing that has remained consistent is their commitment to providing the best possible service to their surety, fidelity, construction and commercial litigation clients.

Phillip Alber was one of the founding shareholders of the Detroit, Michigan law firm of Mager, Monahan, Donaldson & Alber, P.C. in 1985. The firm, which performed both transactional and litigation legal work, underwent name changes to Mager, Mercer, Scott & Alber; and later to Mager, Mercer & Alber. Jeffrey Frank joined the firm as an associate in 1992 and became a shareholder in 1999. Omar Harb joined as an associate in 1994. The firm relocated to Troy, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, in 1995.

In January of 2001, at a time when Mager, Mercer & Alber was consummating a merger with another Michigan firm, Mr. Alber and Mr. Frank founded Alber Frank P.C. located in Troy, Michigan, and Mr. Harb joined them as an associate (and later became a shareholder in 2004). Soon after its formation, the attorneys at Alber Frank joined forces with a surety/fidelity/construction law firm in Louisville, Kentucky headed by Thomas Crafton, ultimately leading to the formation of Alber Crafton, PSC. That firm later expanded with additional offices located in Columbus, Ohio and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Following the sudden passing of Mr. Crafton in December of 2014, the firm closed its non-Michigan offices, and the new Michigan firm of Alber Frank, PC was formed, beginning operations in January of 2016. Today, the Troy, Michigan firm has four attorneys, including Mr. Alber, Mr. Frank, Mr. Harb and Jessica L. Wynn, an associate. All of the attorneys in the firm provide superior services to clients in the areas of surety, fidelity, construction and commercial law.
